Our project arrived here at Advanced Automotive as a street beat 1987 Z52 coupe, needing a lot of work.

Black Light was originally Dark Red metallic, but painted what the previous owner called Radar Blue (purple in person, but blue when photographed - go figure). One thing this poor Corvette had going for it were the late style C4 ('91 - '96) bumper covers, giving it a more updated look than it really was. Apparently, the previous owners original intent was to clone a 1996 Grand Sport, but you can see by the pictures the stripe is not a correct GS stripe at all. Nor are the early C4 pie plate wheels (U-G-L-Y).

Not really that bad looking from the outside, but new(er) paint can hide a lot of problems.
