Part 3 - Custom SportGrip Wheel!
You can see the original steering wheel is in sad, sad shape. A "custom" sport grip ring (from the "discount" store) is our first clue that things are amiss in the interior. Take a look at the spokes of the wheel, re-covered in that staple of Bubba’s garage, electrical tape! Truly a work to behold.
Further investigation reveals a dead DigiDash. Guess the broken LCD screens were a clue? At this point in the evaluation, it’s not unexpected. Fortunately, we have a replacement DigiDash cluster on hand, so that will be an easy fix. The "custom" wheel will be scrapped in favor of a real custom wheel. Once we get the dead DigiDash cluster out, we can see if the dash carrier needs repairing (likely, as it’s a common C4 problem). What other suprises await in the interior?
