Part 5 - Rip’n Roll Interior
Peeling back the cool "racing" seat covers, as suspected, we find the famous "Rip ’n Roll" seats! As we wrap up our evaluation, it appears the previous owner spent a ton of money at the local "discount" auto parts store fixing up this poor Corvette... Bubba must have spent at least "gettin 'er done"!
Taking a final look, we find the carpet is filthy, but usable if cleaned in the cockpit area, but the cargo area (not shown) carpet is completely trashed. We’ll do our own "Rip ’n Roll", by ripping it all out, and rolling in new pieces!
The interior is last on our list of things to do, after body and paint are done. However, we’ve got a ticking timebomb, er.. engine to look at first, so let’s get started!
