Part 8 - Blue Max, Made For You!
Turning our attention to the "discount" wires, we found that they were way too long. As a matter of fact, the driver side wires were actually wrapped around the brake master cylinder (nice job, Bubba!). FYI, the insulation on a set of these cheapo "racing" wires is actually inferior to original equipment! There was no WAY were we going to use junk like that...
The proper repair would to use a set of our Moroso Blue Max 8MM ignition wires that we custom cut and fit for a much cleaner look. Once each wire was custom fit, we used Moroso’s shrink sleeves around the terminal boots on both ends. This effectively seals the wires from water/fluid intrusion and helps keep the spark in the wires going to the spark plugs.
We finished off the wire routing with our Made For You Smoothie Centerbolt looms in black for a sanitary and professional result. THIS is what a Corvette deserves!
